Manager of PCI Industries Corporation, Robert Persico provides effective oversight for both short-term and long-term organizational planning in the construction industry. Apart from work, Robert Persico maintains membership at the Leewood Golf Club in Eastchester, New York.
Leewood is a premier golf course located in Westchester County. A private golf club with many great traditions, its rich history can be traced back to some of its earliest members, such Major League Baseball great Babe Ruth.
The Babe started playing golf at Leewood at least as early as 1937. In fact, one of the trophies he won at Leewood is displayed in the space provided for him at the Baseball Hall of Fame. Also, an anecdote circulating around Leewood says that the underpass that leads to the Bronx River Parkway was constructed mainly to allow the Babe to make an express exit from the golf club to Yankee Stadium.
One of the rooms at Leewood celebrates the memories of Babe Ruth at Leewood. The Babe Ruth Room is a lounge located just outside the men's locker room. The room is filled with pictures and memorabilia of the famous baseball player. Some of these items were donated to Leewood by Linda Ruth Tosetti, Babe Ruth's granddaughter.
